Like other events, WSET’s Awards & Graduation ceremony, which is usually held at the Guildhall in January, had to be cancelled. As we did not want COVID to stand in the way of celebrating the achievements of WSET’s Level 4 Diploma in Wines new alumni, we have created a special virtual event.
The ceremony features addresses from Ian Harris and our 2019 Outstanding Alumni Award Winner, Ferran Centelles. Each video has been customised for its region and includes personal addresses from many of our Diploma centres.
The times of the regional ceremonies are as follows:
APAC – 6pm HKT
EMEA – 6pm CET
WSET School London – 6pm GMT
Americas – 6pm CST
We will also be revealing this year’s Vintners’ Cup Winner and broadcasting their pre-recorded acceptance speech.
There are other great features of the platform, like the virtual yearbook and celebration clips, which will allow recent graduates to connect with each other better than ever before!
